Tanya Capello, ASID, IFDA
As the principal of Capello Design, Tanya listens closely to her clients’ needs to devise functional room plans that enhance lives. Known for her attention to detail and discerning eye, Tanya has attracted a loyal clientele and earned the respect of builders, architects, and craftsman in New England and beyond.
Her passion for art and architecture was inspired by her time spent living in Holland, where she traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. These travels also sparked her interest in European architecture and furniture, which influences her eclectic design approach.
A member of the ASID and IFDA, Tanya received her Master of Art degree in Interior Architecture from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University. Her work has been featured in Traditional Home, Design New England, and New England Home magazines. Since 2009, Tanya has served on the Executive Council for the Susan F. Smith Center for Women’s Cancer at Dana-Farber.
A project manager with Capello Design since 2011, Carin oversees client communications, including proposals and invoices, and works closely with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and custom requests. She also schedules workroom appointments and product deliveries.
Before joining Capello Design, Carin worked in marketing and sales for Merck & Co in New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania, and as an elementary school teacher in Massachusetts. She holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Boston College.
